Opening Hearts

In my own journey to Love, I've had my share of disappointments. Before I discovered the path to open-hearted relationship, all I wanted was to be deeply connected with someone who met me. But that kind of connection never seemed to come along. The more I longed for it, the more it seemed to evade me.

As my adult life went on, I went through the series of wounds and disappointments that characterize most people's relationship odyssey. I decided to make a point of healing whatever was limiting my relationships. What I would come to learn, in an adventure that has lasted decades, was that the way to end separation with others is simply to dive into the vast ocean of the heart.

When I finally understood how to open my heart and my nervous system to love, and how to assist my partner to do the same, my relationships changed forever. Then I wanted to share it with everyone. Along the way, I incorporated everything I learned and had come to understand into my work with students and clients.

What most couples are looking for in relationship and sexuality, consciously or not, is just to connect deeply and fully. Opening the heart through energetic processes allows this to take place, so that we can fully experience our wholeness and that of another. As we tune to each other and open to the subtler depths of love and unity, we become fully available to our natural qualities of contentment with others and trust in ourselves.
