Gaia House at The Expanding Light Retreat

Gaia House is a beautiful retreat nested in the Sierra Nevadas of Northern California, overlooking Ananda Village, one of the world’s most successful intentional communities. Our sustainably built family-style retreat includes a large living room for gathering, spacious dining room and kitchen, outside seating for meeting and dining, and gardens and grounds to stroll and enjoy. We host small groups as well as offering pre-planned programs and courses throughout the year. Gaia House has 6 rooms and can house up to 12 people, with overflow housing at The Expanding Light Retreat, a 5-minute drive away. The Expanding Light also offers meals if individuals or groups prefer not to cook, as well as massages and other services.
